PwC Careers Trip

Year 9 students participated in their Work Insight Day at PwC’s main offices near Tower Bridge. 

Our students spent the morning meeting PwC employee volunteers who shared their career journeys and the routes that led them to their current roles. This was followed by an impressive tour of the building, including the customer suite, collaborative office floors, and the staff restaurant area, giving students a real sense of a modern professional environment. 

The group then took part in an engaging workshop focused on decoding interview skills. Students learnt how to apply the STAR technique to structure confident and effective interview answers, before putting their new skills into practice through mock interviews with PwC volunteers. 

Experiences like this are an important part of our careers provision, giving students meaningful interactions with professionals and a genuine insight into the workplace.
