Year 8 students completed their Flag Internship at the offices of Channel 4. Our students had a fantastic opportunity to explore a real media environment through a guided tour of the building, giving them a behind‑the‑scenes look at how a major broadcaster operates.
They also took part in a tailored CV workshop, where Channel 4 staff helped them understand how to present their skills and experiences effectively. The events team had students create their own event and also helped pitch ideas for new shows. Throughout the day, students met a range of employees working across different departments, giving them valuable insight into the variety of careers within the creative industries. It was an inspiring experience for our students and a great example of meaningful careers education in action.
