Harris Academies
All Academies in our Federation aim to transform the lives of the students they serve by bringing about rapid improvement in examination results, personal development and aspiration.

Each year, our four faculties select a charity to support. This is based on discussion in tutorial time, leading to each Tutor Group nominating their preferred charities and voting on which one to raise funds.  The final decision is then confirmed in the Student Council meeting during the first term.

This year our charities are:

Blue Faculty – Macmillan Cancer support

Green Faculty – Friends in St Helier

Red Faculty – St Raphael’s Hospice

Yellow Faculty – SOS Children

Charities 2014

Each Faculty will nominate a staff charity champion and each Tutor Group will select a charity representative who will contribute ideas and lead on the fundraising for their faculty’s charity.

Autumn Term Events:

  • Christmas Jumper Day
  • Christmas film screening
  • Bake off
  • Guess the name of the bear competition

The money raised by each faculty will be published at the beginning of each new term.

Last year's charities were:

Blue - Cancer Research

Green - Save the Children

Red - Help for Heroes Red Faculty Just Giving Page

Yellow - Children in Need Yellow Faculty Just Giving Page
