This year, the government has introduced a new performance measure called Progress 8 that indicates the progress made by students in secondary schools across eight key subjects.
In schools that achieve a score of 0.5, on average, students have achieved half a grade higher than the expected grade. In first set of national data released by the Department for Education, Harris Academy Morden’s score is +0.67 – almost two thirds of a grade higher on average than what is expected of them!
This has ranked the Academy as the joint 52nd school in the country out of over 6250 schools!
The result places the Academy in the top 2% of schools national.
This is an amazing result for all staff, students and our parents/carers to celebrate.
Well done Year 11!
