Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does Parent Pay work?
Parents will be provided with details on how to set up a ParentPay account for their child, usually during the first week of term. Parents can securely top up their child’s account so that they are able to purchase food/drink at break or lunch.
What are the rules on mobiles?
Students are not permitted to bring their phones into the Academy. If they are caught with their phone, it will be placed in the school safe until a parent or guardian can come to collect it.
Detentions and rewards
Pupils are rewarded with Harris points by their teachers and tutors for excellent work and behaviour. Students with the most Harris points are given extra rewards, such as gift vouchers, every term. Students who behave poorly will receive negative points or detentions, as we have very high standards at our Academy and we aim to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
